nmpnmp: After 15 years, I am going to live my childhood dream and go to a Hanson concert tonight. I don’t know why it took so long. I first heard Hanson in 5th grade. My teacher had the band’s cd (or were there only have cassette tapes back then?) and would play it for us. I’m not sure if she bought the cd for herself or for the class. When I first saw what Hanson looked like, I thought the band consisted of two girls and one guy because of course long hair equals female. I thought Zac was a really pretty girl. This was before the internet blew up, so our class would have many arguments about the gender of Zac and Taylor. Kids! Gender stereotypes! Not my problem. We must be the same age, because I was in 5th grade when MMMBop came out!  Congrats on your first concert.   I saw them a couple of years ago for the first time, and I feel like I should warn you— Taylor is ten times more beautiful in person. PS.  My problem?  I also thought they were girls at first.
